2. Scope and Intent

This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made through the Crest Havo website located at cresthavo.com ("Website") and shipped to customers within the contiguous United States. Crest Havo is operated by SE Stores LLC.

4. Return Eligibility

Eligible customers may request a return within 30 days of receiving their order, subject to the conditions outlined below. We accept eligible returns for both non-defective products and products that are defective, damaged, or incorrect.

4.1 Conditions for Return

  • For Non-Defective Returns (Change of Mind): The product must be unused, undamaged, in the same condition received, in its original packaging, with all applicable labels and tags attached, including applicable accessories, manuals, and other originally included materials. Change-of-mind returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • For Defective or Damaged Returns: Defective or damaged products are not subject to the 20% restocking fee, and Crest Havo will cover applicable return shipping costs. Please provide photographs or videos documenting the damage or defect.
  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt, order number, or other reasonable proof of purchase is required for all returns.

5. Return Process

5.1 Initiating a Return. Contact Customer Service: Email us at support@cresthavo.com or call 615-502-4150 within 30 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number, the product you wish to return, the reason for the return, and photographs or videos when applicable. Return Authorization: After reviewing your request, we will provide return instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, if applicable. Do not send a product back without following our return instructions. Approved change-of-mind returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, which will be deducted from the applicable refund.

5.2 Preparing Your Return. Package the Item Safely: Securely package the item to help prevent damage during return shipping. Where applicable, use the original packaging and include all accessories, manuals, tags, labels, and other originally included materials. Include Documentation: Include the return authorization information and any supporting documentation requested by our Customer Service team. Return Label: For approved change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for obtaining and paying for the return shipping label. For approved defective, damaged, or incorrect items, Crest Havo will provide or arrange an appropriate prepaid return shipping label.

5.3 Shipping the Return. Method: Return the item using a trackable shipping method. Return Window: Once your return has been authorized, follow the return instructions and shipping deadline provided by our Customer Service team.

6. Return Shipping Costs and Fees

  • Return Shipping Costs (Change of Mind): The customer is responsible for return shipping costs for approved change-of-mind returns.
  • Return Shipping Costs (Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items): Crest Havo will cover applicable return shipping costs.
  • Restocking Fees: A 20% restocking fee applies to eligible change-of-mind returns. No restocking fee applies to approved returns involving defective, damaged, or incorrect items.

7. Specific Return and Refund Conditions

7.1 Returns Due to Change of Mind (Non-Defective Products). Eligibility: The item must be unused, undamaged, in its original packaging, and have applicable tags and labels attached. The return request must be submitted within 30 days of receipt. Refund: Once the returned item has been received and inspected, an approved refund will be issued to the original payment method, less the applicable 20% restocking fee. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

7.2 Defective or Damaged Goods. Notification: For packages that arrive damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery. For defects discovered after delivery, contact us as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the defect. Documentation: Please provide photographs or videos showing the damage or defect when possible. Resolution: Depending on the circumstances and product availability, we may provide a replacement or a full refund. No restocking fee applies, and Crest Havo will cover applicable return shipping costs.

7.3 Incorrect Product Received. If you receive an incorrect product, contact us as soon as possible after receiving your order. We will review the issue and, where the error is confirmed, arrange for the incorrect item to be returned at our expense and work to provide the correct product at no additional cost to you.

7.4 Product Never Arrived. Notification: Contact us if your product does not arrive within the estimated delivery time stated in our Shipping Policy. Resolution: We will work with the applicable shipping carrier to investigate the shipment. If the product is confirmed lost in transit, we may offer a replacement or refund, as appropriate.

7.5 Order Cancellation. Before Shipment: Customers may request cancellation within 24 hours of order placement. Cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible because we may begin processing orders shortly after they are placed. If an eligible cancellation is approved before shipment, the applicable payment will be refunded. After Shipment: Once an order has shipped, it generally cannot be canceled through the order-cancellation process. Please follow the applicable return process after receiving the product. A 20% restocking fee applies to eligible change-of-mind returns after shipment, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

8. Refunds

8.1 Refund Conditions. Approval: Refunds are issued after we receive and inspect the returned item and determine that the applicable return requirements have been satisfied. Notification: We will notify you by email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund request. Condition: Items must meet the return eligibility criteria outlined in Section 4.

8.2 Refund Processing. Method: Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. Processing Time: After receiving and inspecting the returned item, refunds are generally processed within 5-7 business days. Additional time may be required for funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank, credit card issuer, or payment provider.

8.3 Partial Refunds. A partial refund may be considered where: a returned item is not in its original condition for reasons unrelated to an error by Crest Havo; parts, accessories, manuals, tags, or other originally included materials are missing; or other circumstances warrant a partial refund under the applicable return conditions.

9. Exchanges

We accept exchanges for defective, damaged, or incorrect items, subject to product availability and our review of the applicable claim. To request an exchange, contact us at support@cresthavo.com or 615-502-4150. If the requested replacement item is unavailable, we may provide another appropriate resolution, such as a refund.

10. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for standard change-of-mind returns: Custom or personalized items; Items marked as "Final Sale." Additional product-specific return restrictions may apply where disclosed on the applicable product page or provided by the manufacturer.

The CT Serenity: the Harmony’s sauna, with a covered porch on the front

Eastern White Cedar, solid single-stave walls, T6061 aluminum bands and a 5 mm bronze tempered glass door. The Serenity is the 94.5-inch outdoor barrel sauna, and here is the thing about it that nobody selling it will tell you , it comes straight off LeisureCraft’s own comparison table: its sauna is exactly the same size as the Harmony’s, 71 inches deep, 222 cubic feet, identical. The extra 15 inches on the outside is a covered porch with benches. You are buying somewhere to sit between rounds, not a bigger sauna.

Straight answer first

Where the Serenity earns its place: and what it is not

We would rather be plain about this than sell you the wrong barrel. On LeisureCraft’s own specification table the Serenity and the Harmony have identical interiors: 71 inches deep, 83 wide, 79 high, 222 cubic feet, the same 20-inch benches. Stepping up from a Harmony to a Serenity buys you no additional sauna whatsoever.

What it buys is the porch, roughly fifteen inches of covered cedar deck on the front, with benches, under the overhang of the barrel. And that is a genuinely good thing to own. The part of a sauna session people underestimate is the cool-down between rounds, and a porch means you do it outside, in the air, still under cover, instead of going back into the house in a towel.

Buy the Serenity because you want the porch. If what you actually want is more room to sit in, do not buy this one, buy the Tranquility, which is the first barrel in the range where the sauna itself gets bigger.

The wood

Eastern White Cedar, on the barrel and on the porch

The barrel is built from Grade-A solid cedar in single staves, no tenon joints along their length, held by T6061 aluminum bands, which LeisureCraft describes as marine grade, with stainless steel hardware. Eastern White Cedar is naturally resistant to rot, decay and insects, and it is sourced from certified sustainable mills in British Columbia and Ontario.

Here is the part almost nobody selling a barrel sauna will tell you. The cedar is meant to move. LeisureCraft’s own care instructions say the goal is for the wood to expand into the bands, tightening the staves, and that you should tighten the bands after the initial installation, typically within the first month, then check them periodically. A three-quarter-inch wrench does it in minutes. It is the one maintenance job this sauna genuinely needs, and it is why a well-kept barrel stays tight for decades.

What you are paying for in a Canadian Timber cedar barrel sauna


Solid single-stave cedar

Grade-A solid cedar with no tenon joints running along the stave. It is the difference between a barrel that stays round and one that does not.


T6061 aluminum bands

Made in Canada, in the alloy LeisureCraft calls marine grade, with stainless steel hardware. They are also the part you tighten, see above.


20-inch benches, 5 mm glass

Benches are 20 inches wide on every stave barrel in the range. The door and window are bronze tempered single pane, 5 mm, per LeisureCraft’s specification sheet.

Choosing your heater

Wood or electric: both are offered on the Serenity

Every Canadian Timber barrel is a traditional sauna, and every one is available with a wood-burning stove as well as an electric heater; LeisureCraft’s own comparison table lists both as available on all three. For electric, LeisureCraft recommends 7.5 kW here, the same as the Harmony, because the sauna is the same size.


Electric: the simple path

Six electric heaters fit these barrels, from the wall-mounted Harvia KIP to the HUUM Drop, which holds 120 lb of stone. The heater sets the circuit, not the sauna, and the run from your panel to the yard is usually the bigger cost. Tell us the heater and we will put the electrical specification in writing. It has to be a licensed electrician, LeisureCraft voids the warranty otherwise.


Wood: and what it asks of you

Wood is slower to bring up and needs feeding mid-session, and it is the reason people put these at cottages: the fire is half of it. Electric is set-and-forget, and it is the only option if your township restricts outdoor burning, worth checking before you choose. A wood build also needs a chimney, and which chimney depends on your site.

Living with it

What a week with the Serenity actually looks like

The round, then the porch

Fifteen minutes inside, then out onto the front bench under the overhang instead of back into the kitchen in a towel. That swap is the entire reason this model exists. Everything else on the Serenity is a Harmony.

Weather

The porch sits under the barrel’s own curve, so it is covered without anything bolted on. Rain and snow are when that earns its keep, you can take the cold air between rounds without standing out in the weather to do it.

Company

Four inside on the 20-inch benches, two more out front on the porch bench. The sauna itself is Harmony-sized, so the porch is what lets more people be part of it without anyone queueing in a towel indoors.

If your sauna habit is rounds rather than one long sit, the porch is the whole product. It is where a good part of the session actually happens, and it is the difference you notice every time.

The host

Four in, two out, nobody dripping through the kitchen on the way past. The sauna is Harmony-sized; the porch is what makes it social, and because it is covered, a wet evening does not push everyone back indoors halfway through.

The one who wants a Tranquility and does not have the room for one

Be honest with yourself here: this is not a smaller Tranquility, it is a Harmony with a porch. If six people need to sit down at once, saving now buys the wrong barrel, and the Tranquility is a different crate entirely.

Harmony and Serenity have identical interiors: 71 inches deep, 222 cubic feet. The Serenity is longer outside because it carries a covered front porch. The Tranquility is the only one of these three where the sauna itself is bigger. Dimensions, volumes, crate sizes and heater ratings above are LeisureCraft’s own published figures. One departure, and we would rather you saw it: their table lists the Serenity at five people and the Harmony at four, despite giving both the same 71-inch, 222 cubic foot room. Because the room is the same size we publish four for both and count the porch separately. Their figure is five, check it, and decide which is more useful to you.

Barrel sauna delivery, and what to have ready


Freight included

Freight and all cross-border charges are already in the price, curbside to the contiguous 48 states. The Serenity crate is 34″ x 96″ and about 1,113 lb. At 96 inches it is past the 84-inch limit LeisureCraft sets for a liftgate, so plan on equipment or several people to take it off the truck, that is the arrangement to make before the delivery call, not on the day.


Built to order

Nothing is stocked. Your barrel joins the production queue in Melancthon once your order is placed, and we confirm the build and ship window in writing as soon as the factory schedules it. If that date does not work, say so straight away, nothing is cut in the first days, and that is the window where a change costs nothing.


What it sits on

No slab to pour, the barrel rests on its own cedar cradles. But the ground under those cradles has to be flat and stay flat: compacted gravel or level pavers under each cradle is the usual answer. Ground that settles unevenly pulls a barrel out of round, and improper installation is excluded from the warranty. Call us before you dig or pour.


Inspect before you sign

Photograph any damage and write it on the Bill of Lading before you sign, then call us within 72 hours. A clean signature makes a freight claim very hard to win, and on a crate this size a concealed dent is easy to miss in the moment. The crate is set down at the curb, not carried inside, not assembled, so have your help and your route sorted for the day it lands.

A few situations do add cost, a tilt-tow truck, an address change after the crate ships, or terminal storage if a delivery appointment stalls. All are avoidable and all are listed on our LeisureCraft shipping policy. Because each barrel is cut for your order, LeisureCraft does not accept returns or exchanges at any point; read our return policy before ordering, and call us with any doubt, because we would rather talk it through first.

Before you start. Heat loads the cardiovascular system. If you are pregnant, have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, a seizure disorder or diabetes, have a pacemaker or another implanted cardiac or electronic device, are recovering from surgery, have Raynaud’s syndrome, or take medication affecting blood pressure, thermoregulation or alertness, speak to your doctor first. This is not an exhaustive list, if you have any health condition, ask your doctor before you start. Never use a sauna after drinking alcohol, and children should not use one unsupervised.

Buyer questions

CT Serenity: the questions buyers actually ask

Is the Serenity a bigger sauna than the Harmony?

No, and this is the single most useful thing to know before you order. LeisureCraft's own table gives the Serenity and the Harmony the same 71-inch interior depth and the same 222 cubic feet. The Serenity is 94.5 inches long on the outside against the Harmony's 79. LeisureCraft publishes no porch depth; that extra length is a covered front porch with benches, not extra room to sit in. If you want a bigger sauna rather than a porch, the Tranquility is the one that grows: 94.75 inches deep and 297 cubic feet.

What is the porch actually like to use?

It is a covered cedar deck on the front of the barrel with benches, sheltered by the overhang of the barrel itself. Its job is the cool-down between rounds, the part of a sauna session people underestimate. Instead of walking back into the house in a towel you sit outside, under cover, and go back in when you are ready. In rain or snow the overhang is the difference between finishing the round outside and dashing indoors.

Will the Serenity fit where a Harmony fits?

Not in length. It is the same width and height, 86.25 inches on both, but 94.5 inches deep against 79, so you need about fifteen more inches of run. The crate is longer too, at 96 inches against 84, which puts it past the 84-inch liftgate limit. Measure the access route as well as the pad.

How does a barrel sauna heat differently from a square room?

The curve is doing a job. A square sauna has upper corners nobody sits in and a barrel does not, so it encloses less air for the same bench space. Heat-up time depends mainly on the heater you choose and the outdoor temperature, which is why we size the heater with you rather than publish a number that will not hold.

What is Eastern White Cedar, and why not Western Red?

Eastern White Cedar is what the Canadian Timber Collection is built from, lighter in color, tighter knots, naturally resistant to rot, decay and insects, and sourced from certified sustainable mills in British Columbia and Ontario. Western Red Cedar is a darker, more strongly scented species used in other sauna lines. Neither is short of cedar smell, the difference is closer to two coffees than to coffee and water. Every barrel we sell in this family is Eastern White Cedar.

How often do you tighten the bands on a barrel sauna?

Yes, and it is the one job with a deadline. LeisureCraft's own care instructions explain that the cedar needs to expand into the bands to tighten the staves, and that you should tighten them after the initial installation, typically within the first month, then check them periodically. A three-quarter-inch wrench does it. It takes minutes, it is the one job this sauna genuinely needs, and skipping it is how people end up with gaps between staves.

What does the warranty actually cover?

Five years, residential, against defects in materials and workmanship, starting the day you receive it. It is parts only, service, labor and installation are excluded, and a replacement part does not extend the five years. It does not cover normal wear, improper installation, insufficient maintenance or weather. One condition catches people out: all electrical connections must be made by a licensed electrician, and failing to do that voids the warranty. Heaters carry their own terms, which we confirm in writing with your order.

Can I pay for this over time?

Yes. Shop Pay Installments is available at checkout on orders up to $30,000. Terms, length and whether interest applies all depend on the amount financed and on approval, so the exact offer is the one presented to you rather than anything we can quote here. Call us if you would rather talk it through first.

What happens if I change my mind after ordering?

Every barrel is built to your order, so LeisureCraft does not accept returns or exchanges at any point, that is their policy, not a restocking arrangement, and we would rather you knew before you ordered than after. If your build has not started we will do everything we can to cancel at no cost, which is why calling the moment anything changes is the single most useful thing you can do. Is a traditional sauna safe for me?

For most healthy adults, used sensibly, yes, but heat genuinely loads the cardiovascular system, so this is a question for your doctor rather than for us. Speak to them first if you are pregnant, have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, a seizure disorder or diabetes, have a pacemaker or another implanted cardiac or electronic device, are recovering from surgery, have Raynaud's syndrome, or take medication affecting blood pressure, thermoregulation or alertness. That list is not exhaustive. Never use a sauna after drinking alcohol, and children should not use one unsupervised.

How long from order to delivery?

Every barrel is built to order, so the honest answer is that it depends on the production queue rather than on us, and that queue moves. We quote your build and ship window on the phone rather than publish a number that ages, and we confirm it in writing once the factory schedules it. If the timing does not work for you, the first days after an order are the window where a change costs nothing.

Is the five-year warranty valid in a gym, spa or rental?

The five-year term is LeisureCraft's residential warranty. If the sauna is going into a gym, spa, short-term rental or any commercial setting, call us before you order, commercial coverage is not the same thing and we will confirm the terms in writing rather than let you find out at claim time.

We buy directly from the manufacturer in Melancthon, Ontario, your barrel is built against your order, and we send the manufacturer's warranty registration with your order confirmation. When something needs sorting out, we deal with the factory on your behalf.
